You’ll use yogic practices and gain a perspective in neuroscience to transform your relationship with pain. Experiential and evidence-based teaching strategies will encompass the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of pain. You will begin to understand how to identify the type and quality of your pain, as well as the unique message offered by the pain you experience in specific areas of your body. An integrative blend of Kundalini Yoga, meditation, and lessons are offered. You are encouraged to work through the course at your own pace, with support from Anne and your fellow students. Guidance on how to most effectively work through the course materials and maximize their benefit is presented.
Anne Novak is a teacher, author and healer whose work on the study of healing and pain has helped thousands. She has been practicing Yoga and Meditation since 1999, leading retreats and workshops in the United States, London, Mexico, the Philippines, Thailand, and Africa. She also teaches teaches locally and maintains a private healing practice in Connecticut.
Anne is a certified Yoga and Meditation Teacher, a Member of the Yoga Alliance, an ACE-Certified Personal Fitness Trainer with a background in physical therapy, and a certified Hypnotherapist who has been working in the health and wellness industry for over thirty years.
In her private practice, she is a guide and facilitator in personal healing. Among the many healing modalities she uses in her practice are yoga and meditation, hypnotherapy, energy work, and heart meditation.
As a Kundalini Yoga teacher, my practice is already strong, but Anne helped me to put it together in such a way and to understand the messages coming from my body in a way that allowed me to heal in record time, shift away from chronic pain, and avoid major surgery.
